More BH Contractions....
I am getting tired of contractions and false labor. All weekend Travis heard me complain about them. I thought for sure I was going into labor Saturday night. Jaya and Elynn both think I am the most un-fun mom in the world right now. This whole morning I literally sat on the couch. Which I have never done in my entire life! Elynn and Jaya climbed all over me...My only two rules were "Please don't hurt each other or kick/climb on my tummy." Needless to say it didn't go very well. I think they are both ready for me not to be pregnant anymore. I am just trying to keep this baby inside for at least two more weeks. I think it's going to be very hard on my family but if I don't try we will be having this baby this week :-(

35 Weeks Pregnant Today
The count down is now on! 2-5 weeks to go! I have to keep this little one in my tummy for at least one more week in order to be able to deliver here in High River. Which quite frankly is better for everyone. I am now topping the scales at a whopping 163.5 pounds and my double chin has officially arrived. This little person is kicking or punching me as I type. We have names, we have outfits, and we are ready! We just can't wait!
A Big Thank You
Hey Granny Peggy! How about you take time off work, fly out here, and watch our 2 energetic toddlers for three days? And for some crazy reason she said YES! And I am extremely indebted to her for it. When we got back from Banff I asked her if she was tired, she answered, "No I am good, the kids were great, and they slept great." What? I was thinking...Why is she not exhausted? Why does she still look great? Why does her house still look orderly? Why did she get to sleep every night? I am starting to think she has some magical power. It just didn't seem fair. But I am happy for her. No really... The kids loved her attention and the fact I think she rarely said "no" to them ;-) The reason I think this is because when I got them home and said "no" they both freaked out, making me think they hadn't heard that word in three days! lol Oh..well that's what grannies are good at. Spoiling the tar out of their grandkids and then giving them back. Thank you Granny Peggy! Thank you for loving on our babies. We love you to pieces...

Christmas in February
Travis gave me a weekend in Banff for Christmas this past year. I can't imagine many men signing up to take their almost nine month pregnant wife anywhere...but he did! There are not many winter activities for pregnant women, but we lived it up at the Rimrock Resort (fitting isn't it?) We ate and ate and ate! From fancy breakfast buffets, to fondue, to fancy coffees, to the best lobster I have ever had... It was incredible to sit down to a meal and not be cutting someone else's food, wiping someone else's face, or feeding someone. I completely forgot what that was like for one whole weekend!
It was great for us to get away, talk, reconnect, rest, and enjoy the peace and quiet. I love my kids but I also love my alone time with my husband. After all, I will be with him for the next 50 years! So on Saturday we took the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain. The view was incredible. The company was incredible. The weekend was incredible. He even ended the weekend by buying me a prego massage at the hotel spa. He spoiled me to pieces... but it was nice. And I loved every minute of it :-)

Saved by Skype
Between our skype sessions with Amy, Grannie Peggy, and Oma/Grandpa Joe skype is a true lifesaver. Several mornings a week we skype Oma and Grandpa Joe. It's funny that my two and one year old already know what skype even is... Here is a really classy picture taken of them this morning. My parents...at their finest! ;-)
Dress Up Days
I like to wear my best perfume on days no one but my family will even see me. I like using our nice dinner plates every day. And I LOVE the fact Jaya and Elynn want to wear tutus, butterfly wings, and fancy headbands while dancing around the house together. It warms my heart! I love that Travis and I have happy babies...

Valentine's Day 2011
The girls and I made their daddy these Valentine's Day cards. When I asked Jaya what she wanted to write on it she said, "Thank you for the bagels and cream cheese!" (he makes her breakfast and it's a frequent breakfast favorite around here!) She loves him for it! That's what is so beautiful about children. They still love the little things in life...

As for me, I made out well at Valentine's Day too with these beautiful flowers, a great card, and a spa treatment of my choice this weekend! (He got a coffee grinder and subscription to Western Horseman! ha ha) I know a lot of people don't like Valentine's Day but I do... I think deep down every girl likes to feel special no matter what day it is :-)
