31 Weeks Prego

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.... This has become my montra. 6-9 weeks to go! My next check up is Wednesday. I am doing my best to make sure I am placing all of my energy and effort into spending quality time with Elynn and Jaya. Every morning we load up and head out for some type of fun "kid" activity. By noon my energy is gone and we rush home, I get everyone fed and we all lay down for a nap. It is becoming the only way I am able to survive the fatigue and weight gain. The crockpot is becoming a staple. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....

Mommy's Little Helper

Jaya helps me pick up toys off the floor, throws away dirty diapers, retrieves diapers and wipes, wipes up spills, and is learning how to set the table. She loves to help me and afterwards she always asks for a "high five!" She also tries to force feed Elynn and boss her around as much as possible. Elynn just yells NO, NO, NO! It's quite the show...

Horseopoly

I never knew there were so many variations of monopoly. Caera, Travis, and I played after the girls went to bed last Saturday night. Travis won, Caera came in second, and I lost horibly.. Note to self: Do not attempt board games while under the influence of pregnancy.

Buckle Up!

We added the third seat last week. I took our Yukon in to the GMC dealership last Saturday. We needed to make more room for our fast growing family. Here's the view from my seat!

Elynn now weighs 16.5 pounds and will be in a rear facing carseat until she is 20 pounds. She is working on it!

Matching Colorado Shirts

Aunt Amy sent the girls matching Colorado and Alberta shirts for Christmas. They sat next to each other for 3 seconds for me to get this pic....

30 Weeks Pregnant!

I am now 30 weeks pregnant and have gained about 32 pounds. The baby is very active between 8pm and 12am. Other then that, I think he/she sleeps the rest of the time. I had a check up last week and the baby was measuring perfectly and had a strong heart rate at 144 bpm. Jaya asks to kiss the baby (my belly) everyday. Equipped with her own doctor's bag I get a check-up every morning. It hasn't sunk in for Elynn yet. She is still enjoying being the youngest and speed walking through the house. As for me, I was feeling pretty great until this past week. Keeping up with two toddlers and a house took its toll. Travis now not only works a full-time 6 day a week job, but now oversees the laundry duty until I am functioning at full strength again. The first part of this pregnancy flew by and now time is beginning to crawl. 7-10 more weeks...I had to remind myself last night that no one is pregnant forever and this baby will be here soon...

Adian and Cole's Birthday

Two of Jaya's guy friends from Okotoks had a birthday party at the HR play center last week. We really try never to miss a party so we went. It was fun. Dad came too sporting his new manly beard :-)
