Jaya's Swim Lessons

Jaya is signed up for swim lessons (the next six weeks) on Saturdays. She has officially tried on every swim suit we own and could not be more excited. She loves swimming and we want all of our girls to have every opportunity to participate in fun activities!!

The first lesson was a huge success and now she asks me everyday if we are going swimming... "Not until Saturday Jaya...you can go swimming on Saturday!" The whole fam went and watched her last Saturday. This was the suit she chose...

May 2011 Marks Potty Success

Jaya is officially 80% potty trained. We are so happy for our little girl! WAY TO GO JAYA JOY!!!

Rimini is Dedicated to the Lord

On Mother's Day we had Baby Rimini dedicated to the Lord. The pastor prayed that God would bless her full of kindness. She is a true treasure from the Lord and I am looking forward to watching God work in her little life...

Baby Rimini's Now 5 Weeks Old...

She loves to sleep next to me at night... She is definitely getting to more then I ever let Jaya or Elynn. She loves Momma's milk and being held by anyone that will hold her. She loves laying on her tummy and is by far the strongest baby we have ever had. She basically holds her head up by herself. She is also my best nap taker. She takes 3 and 4 hour naps throughout the day. Her sisters love to hold her and poke her lovingly any chance they get.

She hates anything to do with the car or her carseat. As of now she screams the entire trip...anywhere :-( She does not like having her clothes changed either. I love every minute I get to spend alone with her.... Here are pics from the past five weeks that are partially a blur...

We love the park!!

It's starting to warm up in Alberta and for the Hickey girls that means lots of outings to the PARK!!! We all love it! We some how managed to turn the double stroller into a triple stroller with Jaya sitting on the handle bars while I push. We take waterbottles and snacks an either go for the whole morning or after naptime in the afternoon. We just can't get enough of it! Slides, swings, monkey bars...we do it all. I've decided that both girls are fearless and the ER is probably in our future. But for now we are just enjoying the warm sun and fresh air.
