Pool Time

During our visit to Aunt Amy's we were able to get in a bit of swimming! Jaya loved it and so did Maizey. Jaya even dipped her face in the water attempting to blow bubbles. Children have a beautiful way of making a huge rectangle filled with two feet of water fun!

Stampede Park 2010

We had free tickets from Travis's work to the Calgary Stampede(bus ride, rodeo, and chuck wagon). We wondered if it would be smart to take two children under the age of two to the Stampede. So of course....

We did :-) That's just how we roll. We are doers...goers...we don't sit back and watch...we are livin life together here people! It was hot, fun, and a lot of work. Once again success and another beautiful Hickey Family Sunday. (Plus a ton of sunscreen, hats, and cold beverages!)

Doug and Tannis Miller's Wedding

We took the girls to a wedding on the 17th. Elynn enjoyed being held the whole time and Jaya enjoyed her new furry friends. Someday we will have to get a dog :-) I'm almost positive it won't be to hard to convince her dad....

New Duds....

Travis and I bought the girls new cowgirl outfits. Since a significant amount of their life will be in hand-me-downs, I wanted to blog about their cute new outfits! Never expected but always appreciated...

Back to Pre-Baby Weight

It doesn't come easy...but 7 months and five days later I am back to 128.5. Horray!

Salmon Arm

The three of us took a drive to Salmon Arm an hour away for the evening. Jaya ate macaroni and cheese, Elynn devoured sweet potato mush (a recent favorite), and I had Thai chicken wings. You wouldn't believe the looks I got as we entered the restaurant with two tiny children in tow... I could hear their thoughts..."What is she doing! They are going to scream and ruin our whole dinner!" Well...we didn't. No, we talked, we ate to much, we made a mess, and I treasured every minute of it. The only person that could of made it any better....was back in Alberta eating a steak.

Amy and Maizey

The girls and I spent the past three days visiting Amy, Brian, and Maizey in Revelstoke. The change of scenery has been nice and they are always great to hang out with! Amy is a fellow blogger at www.mcgivenfamilychaos.com she has inspired me to put a little more effort into my blogging addiction. Thank you Amy :-)
