Pasco, Washington to Sandpoint, Idaho

The Hickey Family holiday was down to Pasco Washington, Pendleton Oregon, Hayen & Sandpoint Idaho.  We stayed in hotels, swam in several hotel pools, went to Silverwood Theme Park, went to the beach, and got very little sleep due to small children sleeping in our bed.  But we had fun.  We saw a lot of the northwest and it's always great to have Dad all to ourselves :-)

Off to Katrina's Birthday Party Dressed as Fairies

Everyone that was invited was asked to dress up as a fairy.  Jaya and Elynn were pretty excited about this party.  They had their wings on, tu tu's, glitter make-up, and tights! 

It's moments like these I have great hopes they will always be best friends :-)

Bridal Shower for Stephanie

We threw a bridal shower for Stephanie (Clark) Hickey.  Fully equipped with games, humor, cake, and fabulous food.  Jaya stuck her finger in the cake minutes before the shower started.  Awesome parenting moment...

Mealtime Rules

3.  We eat ANYTHING that is put infront of us

4.  We are grateful for what is put infront of us

5. No throwing food

6. Don't talk with your mouth full

7. Use what manners you are currently aware of

8.  If you don't eat your food there is no dessert

Backyard Summer Fun!

Welcome to the Hickey Spray Park!  I am pretty sure it's the most fun you can have in one backyard.  They would live outside if they could.  Today was one of those days that it's easy to be a stay-at-home mom.  We love seeing them have fun....

Um...I just thought this was super cute.  She is in heaven right now.   She feels safe.  She feels loved.  She is our little angel.

Canada Day 2011

We spent the day as a family at George Lane Park.  The kids loved it!  I love these moments we spend together as a whole family.   It by far my most favorite thing in the world :-)
